Woman Claims She Was Bribed To Testify Against Trey Songz

A woman has come forth that an attorney allegedly tried to bribe her to testify against Trey Songz amid sexual assault claims.

This woman testified that an attorney for the alleged victim in a sexual assault case against the Can’t Help but Wait singer offered her up to $200,000 to testify against the singer. She was asked to change her story and make Trey Songz the bad guy. The attorney in question has denied the accusations.

“We’re highly confident and certain the court will find the witness committed perjury. Parties are still awaiting the judges’ further instructions on how to proceed given the witness’s inconsistent testimony during the hearing.”

The singer-songwriter is in the middle of a sexual assault lawsuit filed by a woman named Jauhara Jeffries. She has alleged that he violated her at a 2017 New Year’s Eve party in Miami.

A transcript from a recent court hearing in the case, had a woman named Mariah Thielen testify that she met with Jeffries’ attorney, Ariel Mitchell, in April 2021 at a bar in Miami.

According to the transcript, Mariah Thielen, who was with Jeffries the night of Trey’s alleged assault, said that Ariel Mitchell offered to pay between $100k-$200k if she’d lie and say she witnessed Trey sexually assault Jauhara Jeffries, and claim that the R&B singer assaulted her too.

Ariel Mitchell allegedly said she was trying to paint Trey as ‘the next R. Kelly’. Mariah Thielen then admits that she planned to take Mitchell’s plan to Trey’s team in hopes of coming to a monetary settlement. According to the transcript she even said her lies would help to make that amount larger.

She claims she wouldn’t have have lied for even $10 million.
