NFL Player Aqib Talib’s Brother Wanted For Murder
As a dispute over a youth football match got out of hand, NFL player Aqib Talib’s brother, Yaqub Talib, is wanted in the case.
NFL player Aqib Talib’s brother, Yaqub Talib is wanted by law enforcement for murder.
The Lancaster Police Department announced on Sunday that they were looking for Yaqub Talib in connection to the death of an adult male on Saturday. The adult male was shot and killed during an argument at the conclusion of a match.
The victim is said to be a coach for one of the teams. Parents were angry about the outcome of the match on Saturday. He later succumbed to his injuries. Police did reveal that the injury was from the direct result of a discharged firearm.
While there is a name circulating online, even TMZ refrained from ID’ing the victim until the family and law enforcement confirmed.
There’s a video of the alleged shooting. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses claim the video shows a man pull out the gun and fire. It’s hard to make out who this person is, or if they have a weapon at all.
Additionally Aqib Talib was also there for this tragic killing. His attorney told TMZ that;
“Aqib was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life. He would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy.”
Aqib famously played for the Bucs, the Broncos. He also won a Super Bowl ring with the team. He has also played with several other teams over the years.
As per reports, Yaqub Talib is planning to turn himself in to authorities.
