Andrew Glennon Reacts After Amber Portwood Loses Custody
After a decision in his custody dispute with Amber Portwood was reached, Andrew Glennon expressed his opinions.
He exclusively told E! News that “We lived through the nightmare.”
We are now able to realize our dreams.
According to court records obtained by The Sun, an Indiana judge granted Andrew primary physical and sole legal custody of James, his and Amber’s 4-year-old son.
Additionally, the judge approved Andrew’s plea to move James to California.
But before making any significant choices about the child’s care, education, or religion, Andrew is instructed to “reach out and weigh the mother’s opinion.”
According to the source, Amber has been given permission to spend the night with James once a month.
She will spend a portion of her permitted time with the 4-year-old in Indiana and California alternately.
Amber, who has a 13-year-old daughter named Leah with her ex Gary Shirley, said in a statement after the judge’s ruling that she had “worked so hard to better me and strengthen my relationships with my children.”
A person should have the option to redeem themselves and not be bound by their past issues, she said in an interview with E! News. She later added, “If your route has not been ideal, but you’ve worked hard to become a better, more stable, and caring person today, keep moving forward as I will.”
I’ll never give up fighting for my children, who I love more than anything, she said.
In addition to this year’s episodes of Teen Mom: Family Reunion and Teen Mom: Girls’ Night In, the 32-year-old formerly starred in Teen Mom OG from 2009 until 2017.
