“All is Good” After Candace Cameron Bure Calls JoJo Siwa ‘Rudest Celebrity’ in TikTok Video
There are no resentments between JoJo Siwa and Candace Cameron Bure – not anymore.
The 46-year-old Fuller House actress addressed the former Dance Moms star, 19, on Instagram on Tuesday, calling her the “rudest celebrity” in a now-viral TikTok video.
Siwa uploaded the video to her social networking account on Monday, claiming that it was her “crush” and included her fast flashing images of famous people she thought were the “rudest,” “nicest,” “coolest,” and “best.”
When asked who the “rudest celebrity I’ve met” was, Siwa turned her phone around swiftly to show a picture of Cameron Bure from the Fuller House set. She gave no further information on their claimed interaction.
Candace Bure began her Instagram video by stating that she was “shocked” and “had no idea where that came from.”
“I immediately tried to contact her through our mutual acquaintances, and my publicist got in touch with her management. I also DM’d her because I was unsure of what had happened. She started. So this morning, I was able to speak with JoJo at last. I rang her. We also had a fascinating talk. Hey, how are you doing? She said. Well, I’ve been better, I responded. What just happened?
According to reports, Siwa told Cameron Bure that she “didn’t think it was a big thing” since she didn’t expect her video would become a viral hit and called it a “silly TikTok fad.” Then, Cameron Bure said that it “was a huge issue” and enquired as to what she had done to the woman.
“Since all, I can recall is that we met at the Kelly Clarkson concert, which was a pretty amazing experience, and [JoJo] replies, ‘Yeah! It was extremely wonderful. You were really sweet and everything said Cameron Bure.
“She honestly didn’t want to tell me,” the woman added, “because she thought it was so dumb, she felt horrible, and that’s why it just wasn’t a big thing to her.” When I was 11 years old, I first met you at the Fuller House premiere, and we were all on the red carpet. I approached you and asked if I may take a picture with you. You responded, “Not at this time.” then carried on with what you were doing, which was to pose for photos with other individuals on the red carpet.'”
The Dancing With the Stars alum was then profusely apologized to by the mother of three, to which Siwa said, “You weren’t even harsh! When you’re on the red carpet and everything is happening and you’re being tugged in all directions, I now understand it as an adult, but I was only 11 at the time.
“I think I hurt your 11-year-old heart a little. Cameron Bure exclaimed, “I didn’t take a picture with you! I feel awful.” I’m very sorry, JoJo.
Cameron Bure answered, “Please know that as a parent, it tears my heart that I made you feel that way, and I’m sorry to your mom, too, that I did that to her daughter,” despite Siwa telling the comedy actress that their historic meeting years ago was “really not a huge thing.” I am aware that Mama Bear will emerge if anyone offends my children.
